The 2010 UNITE Conference May Be Sooner Than You Think

For the past several years the annual technology conference for Unisys users has been held in the late autumn, and often in a place that is considered a little more than chilly, especially for us southern folks.  This year Unite has made a big change and has decided to hold the 2010 show in May from the 23rd to the 26th.  The springtime weather will surely be a welcome change to attendees and may even make a nice vacation opportunity for those who want to bring their families along.

Q: Hello, What SSL encryption levels does UTS Express Enterprise support? Does it support authentication? Thanks!

 

A: The UTS eXpress Enterprise SSL support is with TLS 1.0. As such, it will negotiate the strongest key strengths and cipher algorithms available to both the client PC and host system. Through configuration options, UTS eXpress Enterprise can be restricted to FIPS 140 compatible key strengths and ciphers.

 

It does support authentication and also supports Unisys Single Point Sign-on utilizing Kerberos tickets provided by Windows domain infrastructure.
