Purpose
The HGS T27 Configuration Administrator manages the T27 session settings served by HGS — the same options users see in their HGS T27 Client, but defined centrally so every web-launched session inherits the right defaults.
Configuration tabs
- Video Options — screen size, colours, cursor and blink behaviour.
- DataComm Options — host transport, polling, and timeouts.
- Keyboard Options — keymap selection and modifier behaviour.
- Screen Appearance — fonts and per-attribute colours.
- Keyboard Layout — visual editor for remapping keys.
- Application Scheme — bundle of look-and-feel settings users can switch between.
- Macros — author and distribute keystroke macros.
HGS Session Setup
The Session Setup section defines which host sessions are exposed to users. New Session creates a route entry that maps a friendly name to an HGS T27 virtual destination plus the configuration set above; users see the friendly name in their client's connect dialog.
Distribution
Saved configurations are pushed by HGS to the client at session start, so admin-side changes take effect on the next launch — there's no per-user rollout step.
