Per-server licensing
HGS is licensed to a single server system — every server installation requires its own license. Archive copies for backup are permitted, but the software may not be installed on additional servers under one license.
Client Access Licenses (CALs)
HGS requires CALs in addition to the server license. CALs are sold for a specific, limited number of concurrent users — not named users. Increase the limit by purchasing additional CAL packages or licenses; multiple install media don't change the count.
Competing products
HGS or any of its components may not be used to develop products that compete with KMSYS Worldwide products without written consent.
Transfers
The software may be transferred to another computer after removing it from the original. Upgrades replace the prior version — they don't constitute a separate license. The software is subject to U.S. Commerce Department export restrictions.
Warranty and liability
KMSYS Worldwide warrants the physical media and documentation against defects. The software is provided as-is; the full disclaimer and limit of liability are stated in the source PDF and bind the licensee.
