What WinQ T27 configures
WinQ T27 Configuration owns the connection and terminal settings shared by eQuate and T27 eXpress Pro. Configure once and every WinQ T27 client on the workstation picks up the same defaults.
File menu
- Open from default / alternate location — load an existing settings file.
- Save / Save to… — write the active settings to the default or a chosen path.
- Change Settings Location — point WinQ T27 at a different settings directory (useful for shared profiles).
- Close — exit without further changes.
Video Options
Sets screen size, colours, cursor style, and the visual tweaks that affect how the host screen renders. These options are local to the workstation and do not change anything on the host.
DataComm Options
Defines the network transport — destination address, port, transport type, and timeouts — that WinQ T27 uses to reach the MCP host or HGS. This is the tab to revisit when sessions fail to connect after a network change.
Keyboard Options
Choose the keymap and modifier behaviour. Custom keymaps are edited elsewhere; this tab simply selects the active map.
Character Translation
T27 Character Translation Configuration imports/exports translation tables and opens the Character Translation Edit dialog for in-place changes. Use this when the host expects a different code page or when special characters arrive garbled.
WinQ T27 Settings dialog
The Settings dialog surfaces position (Move) and a Cancel button to back out of changes; OK commits and saves through the configured File menu path.
